Britney Spears at Hospital Britney Spears wasn't really "rushed" to the hospital as reported by certain tabloids. But she was there at the UCLA Medical Center's Mattel Children's Hospital. A rep for Spears clarified that she was there for a routine check up and nothing was actually wrong with her. She was there with two cars and a police escort. Twitter went into overdrive after Perez Hilton tweeted: "I'm hearing that @BritneySpears is in the emergency room right now. Hope it's nothing major and everything is okay! Maybe her kids?" -

Michael Jackson's Doctor to Be Charged Michael Jackson's doctor, the much maligned Dr. Conrad Murray, will be arraigned on Friday. The law enforcement officers told TMZ that he'll be charged with involuntary manslaughter for the death of Michael Jackson. TMZ also reported that Dr. Murray has decided to surrender to the LAPD. He'll be taken to Airport Court in LA. A judge will meet him at 1.30pm. The event will be recorded by a video camera and a still camera. -
Jersey Shore Season 2 in Miami The next edition of MTV's successful show Jersey Shore will be shot in Miami. The producers of the show are scouting for locations on the beaches of Miami. They are in talks with the owner of Miami's Mynt Lounge for permissions to shoot on the premises of the club in March and April. The letter from the producers of the show, 495 Productions say that they are "currently researching Miami Beach as a possible location" for Season 2 and "won't be able to shoot the show on Miami Beach unless we're able to shoot in the hottest clubs." -

The records company Hidden Beach Records is suing her for breach of contract. Apparently, Jill had a 6 album contract with the records company. That was signed in 1999. By 2009, Jill decided to move on halfway through her contract. That's when they decided to sue her. The lawsuit that they filed reads like a child's rants! They wrote that they were "rolling the dice and betting everything it had on an unknown talent" and her breach of contract "deeply saddened" them! -

ABC Takes 'Ugly Betty' off Air After a run of four seasons, 'Ugly Betty', the potentially successful show on ABC, was cancelled. In fact, the present season order has been reduced from 22 to 20. ABC chief Steve McPherson and the show runner of 'Ugly Betty', Silvio Horta, made a joint statement to the media: "We've mutually come to the difficult decision to make this 'Ugly Betty's' final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell." -
