City Island
‘City Island’ is about Vince Rizzo, a man who lives two lives. Living in the Bronx enclave of City Island, Vince nurses a dream. He likes to believe that he’s an actor and strives hard to bring about that quality in him. He’s so obsessed with the idea of taking acting classes and yet keeps it hidden from his family that he leads his wife to believe he’s cheating on her. He works as a corrections officer, but that is only for a living. His explosive wife Joyce, played by Julianna Marguiles, doesn’t believe that he goes to play poker games and alleges that he cheats on her.
Vince doesn’t correct Julianna. He quietly heads to Manhattan for acting classes. At one particular class he is asked to reveal his innermost secret. This sets off a chain of events, leading to a complete turmoil, throwing him off balance and off key. His humdrum existence is stirred to the core. This gives him an idea. He decides to try it on his family. He brings in his long-lost son Tony. Tony is an ex-conman. He presents a new dimension to the household of Vince Rizzo.
Vince Rizzo realizes very soon that there are secrets in the closets of each of his family member. There’s his college student daughter and his teenage son in the fray. There’s also his acting partner and finally the drama coach. They all have something to hide or something that they have to reveal in the course of the movie. The character of Vince Rizzo is played by Andy Garcia. The movie has garnered sufficient interest and is slated to do good business. You can catch it on the video-on-demand service of DISH Network.

Grey’s Anatomy Dumps Katherine Heigl Katherine Heigl is having a tough time! She took a leave from the filming of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. But she was never called back with a call time. She has no clue when to report back to the shoot. Katherine’s calls to the production house were not returned and she is till in the dark about her future role with the medical drama.
