A newbie is taking on a veteran by the horns! That’s exactly what’s happening with the MTV ‘Jersey Shore’ star cast taking on their ‘The Hills’ counterparts. Trashing the super success story of ‘The Hills’, Jersey’s Ronnie Magro thinks: "I’m not crazy about them. We’re doing better than them right now. They’re really not that big of a deal."
He’s not the only one. His ‘Jersey Shore’ mate, Jenni Farley, says, "It would be awesome to do ‘The Hills’ versus ‘Jersey Shore’, like ‘Real World/Road Rules Challenge’. We would torture them. We’d ruin them. I’d take on all six girls!" Read more »

The Christmas Eve was not a joyous occasion for thousands of Brittany Murphy fans across the globe. The talented and bright 32-year old actress, whose life was brutally cut short by a heart attack, was put to rest at the Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn Memorial Park in L.A. Balloon Boy Father Jailed for Stunt
The man who pulled off the 'Balloon Boy' stunt was put to three months in jail. Richard Heene, the father of the now infamous 'Balloon Boy', was put behind bars for 90 days, of which he can work 60 days as a construction worker, which happens to be his profession. The jails sentences are comparatively light, what with the amount of publicity the stunt got for them and all of that accounted for nothing.
The whole world sat glued to TV sets, watching the flight of the homemade balloon with concern because Richard and his wife Mayumi led everyone to believe that their son was on that balloon! Amy Winehouse, the certified nut case we all have to hear about from time to time, was formally charged with assault. She caused a big hoopla at the Milton Keynes Theater on Saturday. The 26-year old singer (!) surrendered in court with her lawyer at the Thames Valley Police station.
She was granted divorce from husband Blake Fielder-Civil in July but was presented in court as Amy Civil! Though that's technically incorrect, we don't think that takes away from what a menace this woman is. British publication 'The Sun' reported that on the fateful day at the theater, she attacked the cast, had a scuffle with a member of the cast and also let herself loose on the manager! Phew! Tiger Woods will be headed for an Arizona clinic soon after the holiday season is over. 'The National Enquirer' published this piece of news, ascertaining that Tiger was threatened into joining the rehab as one of the many changes he wants to make in his life to save the marriage. Tiger himself feels that he needs treatment for addiction and prescription drug use. James Woods Settles Case out of Court The jury did not have to be out on this one. James Woods settled the lawsuit against the Rhode Island hospital where his brother Michael died in 2006. The CEO of Kent Hospital, Sandra Coletta, admitted to mistakes in Michael's treatment and they would be creating an institute as a memorial to Michael. Along with that, $1.25 m will be spent on improving hospital facilities and error reduction. James is the executor of his brother's estate and said that his niece and nephew will be financially compensated. No other information was available. -
Brangelina Donate 7m in Charity A tax return obtained by The Hollywood Reporter showed that Brangelina donated about $6.8m in charity in the year 2008. The Jolie-Pitt foundation listed the causes which the money went to. Global Health, Human Rights Watch and Pitt's Make It Right Foundation are some of the foundations which benefitted, along with Armed Services YMCA and many other projects in Cambodia. Lady Gaga Buys Pizza for Fans Lady Gaga may have disappointed fans at the American Music Awards, but she didn't let her fans down altogether. She reportedly bought $1000 worth pizza for her fans. Fans outside Best Buy in LA were treated by the singer. 80 cheese pizzas were ordered. JLo's Dog Out For Fun? This is real dog trouble. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were slapped with charges after their little dog charged at a flight attendant. The German Shepherd named Floyd is a trained dog for "personal protection." The dog growled and hit out at Lisa Wilson during the course of a flight. Lisa alleged that the dog hit her with the head, causing her to topple over and suffer injuries. The vet's report said: "It is clear to me that Floyd, Mr Anthony's personal protection dog, behaved inappropriately, aggressively and in a manner that consistently endangered humans." -

Mike Tyson Up There Again! Mike Tyson is again facing charges of snapping at a shutterbug. The LA City Attorney's Office is looking into the incident and yet to determine if charges should be slapped against the former heavyweight champ or the pesky cameraperson. Tony Echevarria told the court that Tyson bumped him at the airport leaving him with a bad cut on the forehead. Defense claimed that Tyson was on his way with wife and daughter when he was intentionally provoked. -
Nicholas Cage and his National Treasure Nicholas Cage is broke. Alleging that his manager Samuel Levin is the one to blame, Cage pressed charges against him. Obviously, Levin is now out in the public with a list of Cage's assets, asserting where all the money Cage earned as a screen God went: "15 palatial homes around the world, four yachts, an island in the Bahamas, a Gulfstream jet, millions of dollars in jewelry and art." She was granted a permanent protective order against them. But that didn't surprise us! The surprise was that the judge kept referring to them as husband and wife! We didn't know they were married! Wannabe Star Pleads Innocence in Burglary Alexis Neiers turned up in court today to plead innocence in cases of burglary conducted in the homes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Tisdale and some other celeb biggies, particularly the con job at Orlando Bloom's house this summer. The 18-year old E! Star is filming a reality show with her Playboy model sister, Tess Taylor. Alexis came to court with the camera crew. She's free now on a bond settlement of $50,000. Her next hearing is on Nov 30.
