Much Ado Over PETA Ad on Bethenny Frankel
A new ad featuring a nude Bethenny Frankel has caused some controversy in a different vein than what we generally come across. While the PETA ads are known for the nudity rather than the message, this ad has attracted flak from critics because many, like Real Housewife star Teresa Giudice, feel that the photo was airbrushed to make her body look correct.
Responding to critics with nothing less than the proof, Bethenny has released the original photos in the magazine ‘Us Weekly’. She said, "Everything I'm about is being honest and being upfront. So if people are talking and saying [the photo] was airbrushed...then, you know what? Here's the picture. Have it your way."
Bethenny was not done. She went on to say that she will "never, ever allow them to put up a billboard that was really far from the truth." She has no scruples about posing nude for the ad as well. "I wasn't that freaked out about it. I don't know why. PETA has no interest in making me look sleazy. It was such an honor."
