Bristol Palin Denies Levi Johnston Custody

Bristol Palin wants nothing to have with her ex and her child’s father, Levi Johnston. For the records, Levi cussed at Sarah Palin’s reservations and went ahead to pose nude for ‘Playgirl’. Levi and Bristol’s child Tripp was born when Sarah Palin was running for the US Presidential campaign. They were engaged at that point of time, probably to make it less of a controversy for Sarah, but broke off right after the campaign.

Now there’s a heated argument with Bristol Palin deciding to deny Levi Johnston partial custody for their son Tripp. Tripp turned one year old the previous day. Bristol wanted a closed court proceedings for the child’s custody, citing reasons that the “onslaught of media” would not do anything good for the child or the case. A Superior Court judge scraped the appeal after Levi Johnston pushed for open court proceedings!

In a statement released to the media, Levi says: "I feel more comfortable in a public courtroom which will help everyone stay civil and be on their best behavior." Levi trashed allegations that he has been avoiding his responsibilities as a father. Additionally, Bristol doesn’t want Levi’s mother, Sherry, to visit Tripp. Sherry was busted in drug dealings very recently. The court papers filed by Thomas V Van, Bristol’s attorney, say, "The best interests of the child compel the conclusion that Bristol should be awarded 100 percent legal and physical custody of Tripp, with visitation rights in favor of Levi."
