Carrie Underwood Engaged to Mike Fisher

Carrie Underwood is taken! Mike Fisher, the hockey player of The Ottawa Senators, and the country singer are due to get married soon. This news was broken to the media by Mike himself when he spoke about it to ‘Ottawa Sun’. When he was asked about it just before his game with the Boston Bruins, he admitted to having done the asking to Underwood: "It's true. We're both obviously excited and very happy."

Chris Neil, teammate to Mike Fisher with the Senators told us that Mike called him to share the news with him: "I think it's great news. It's a long time coming. There's going to be a lot of broken hearts in Ottawa with all those girls who are in love with Mikey." The engagement would definitely break some hearts of the men who are in love with the beautiful Carrie Underwood. Speculations started doing the rounds after a family friend of Underwood congratulated her on Mike’s Twitter page.
