Evi Quaid Picked Up. Yes, Again!

The eccentric wife of actor Randy Quaid, Evi Quaid, was picked up from their West Texas home by the Marfa P.D. for failing to turn up at court. That is nothing new to this couple. They have defaulted in court appearance on numerous counts. The arrest took place at 6.30 pm. For reasons not clear to the media, Randy was not arrested. Evi was transported to the Hudspeth County Jail for further processing.

The spokesman for Evi Quaid said: “Evi was booked at Hudspeth County Jail for the outstanding warrant out of Santa Barbara County. She bailed out at 7 a.m. by Freedom Bail Bonds." That is a fabulous name for the company floated by a couple who are not new to using bail bonds to buy their freedom! The reason they were supposed to appear at the court was that they conned on paying a pricey bill and cheated the innkeeper off $10,000.

When Evi was arrested for this offense, she went after the police, alleging a conspiracy theory for this fraud. She went on to draft a volatile letter to the judge and also some nude pictures to the editor of a local newspaper! What the connection is between the two, we don’t know. What she wanted to achieve was even less clear! What we felt was that we need to exercise caution with this news, lest we enter her crap list!
