Ronnie Margo of Jersey Shore Arrested

The police attention has shifted from Snooki to another participant of MTV’s controversial show ‘Jersey Shore’. Ronnie Margo, the most beefy of all, was arrested by the police on Sept. 4 for aggravated assault. That breaks Snooki’s claim to fame as the contestant who had a physical altercation while being on the show. Thomas Boyd, the N. J. Police Chief of Seaside Heights, confirmed the arrest. Ronnie had got into a fight for which he was arrested.

On the other hand, Ronnie gave it out to ‘People’ that the charges pressed against him were later dismissed. What he couldn’t deny was that he spent a few hours in jail and could only see the light of day after paying a bail of $600. But the Ocean County prosecutor’s office doesn’t think so. Mike Mohl, the chief of detectives out there, told us that the case was still under review for further action.

Margo is keeping up a brave front. He said he learnt a lesson behind the bar: “I definitely felt out of place. It’s definitely a place I never want to go back to again. Definitely a lesson learned.” He continued, blaming the person he assault for having provoked him and for making passes at women with him: “I’m really not a person who likes to fight. He was just being a drunk jerk, saw the camera … [and] I think he chased us down like two blocks or something like that. At that point, you’re like, ‘What am I gonna do?’”
