Andy Dick Busted for Sexual Assault

Any Dick, the comedian or so he calls himself, was arrested in West Virginia. The charges are two felony counts and first-degree sexual assault. He was taken to Barboursville and later released on a bail of $60,000. The owner of the club ‘Funny Bone’, Tom Schaefer, paid for the bail. There’s reason, of course! Andy is performing at his club on successive days and he needs him to go up on stage rather than stay cooped up in prison.

So what got this Andy Dick arrested? He was talking to a guy at the club when he “unexpectedly” assaulted the guy and “grabbed the victim's crotch, groping, then kissing him." This was not the only instance that night when Andy assaulted someone. When he entered the club, the guard came over to give him an armband. Andy apparently "grabbed his crotch and began laughing"! This guy, Phillip Daniels, a bouncer with the club Rum Runners, called the police. The police apparently turned up 20 minutes late.

Daniels said, "You could tell he was really out of it. He was on something." Another male patron of the club also said that Andy tried to accost him on a separate occasion, but on the same location. Andy Dick was taken away with handcuffs. He was busted for sexual assault in 2008 and is on probation. If he’s found guilty this time around, it could mean prison term of 1-5 years. Andy’s lawyer said his client "is stunned by these allegations" and denies them vehemently. For you readers, check the TMZ photo by the side of this post!
