Bristol: No Sex till Marriage

Bristol Palin, the mother of 13-year old Tripp, told Oprah Winfrey that getting pregnant at such an young age was the worst thing that could have happened to her. Taking a firm lesson from that, she’s decided not to have sex till she gets married. She admitted unequivocally about the mistake she did by having unprotected sex in her teens. For the record, Levi Johnston is the father of the child and was her childhood sweetheart.

The daughter of Sarah Palin, who was by her side as she spoke about the pregnancy, said, "I just think it's a goal to have, and other women should have that goal." To this Oprah retorted, "Don't you think you are setting yourself up?" Bristol replied in the negative. Bristol went on to say, "I have a kid in my life, and it's my full-time job now. I have this big, supportive family and stuff, but I just felt so alone." She had to say that because Johnston couldn’t care less. He went on to pose nude for ‘Playgirl’!

Sarah Palin had some things to say about the incident, too. She admitted that it “was a shock” for her to learn that her daughter was pregnant. She said, "Like so many other parents, I thought, 'not my kid'". Bristol has filed a case to obtain $1,750 every month for the maintenance of the baby. I’m sure Johnston would be ruing that it would have been better and far cheaper if he had bought a box of rubber!
