Brooke Mueller in Rehab

Earlier this week we reported in these pages that Brooke Mueller was hospitalized with pneumonia and the doctors ordered her to get rid of stress. But if we go by the news updates coming in, it seems that the stress-relief session that she’s headed to isn’t some holiday getaway or quality time with her immediate family. It seems her stress-relief is nothing less than rehab. The doctor’s advice to take it easy seems to have got to her too hard!

‘Entertainment Tonight’ reported that Brooke Mueller was headed for a drug and alcohol center in North Carolina. Brooke is still under court orders not to communicate with her husband Charlie Sheen. Brooke was earlier arrested in 1996 for DUI charges and again in 2001 for having cocaine in possession. We think she’s just trying to brush up her image before she goes to court.

A judge is about to rule on the protective order later on in the next month. Looks like Brooke wants to clean out her slate from all untoward patches so that she’s right there in court, spanking clean, fresh from rehab! If she’s doing all this to be a good mother to her young twins Sam and Max, we wish her all the best! On the other hand, Mueller’s attorney Yale Galanter clarified that Brooke was not in rehab. He said that she was at a center that helped patients that suffered from serious illnesses like pneumonia.
