John Edwards Tried to Fake Paternity Teste

January 22, 2010 at 03:19 am by Monica.

Yesteryear U.S. presidential candidate John Edwards tried to fake a paternity test to keep his reputation intact. But in the wake of circumstances, John has confessed to having the love child with the videographer of his presidential campaign rally, Rielle Hunter. Finally he admitted that he was the father of the almost-2 year old daughter, Quinn. He admitted, "I am Quinn's father." He went on to add, "It was wrong for me ever to deny she was my daughter ... I will do everything in my power to provide her with the love and support she deserves."

After his run for the President’s office completed in failure, the former U.S. Senator of North Carolina gave birth to Frances Quinn in 2007. During that period, John denied having the affair, for obvious reasons, of course. In the middle of 2008, his lies were brought to the fore but he still denied that he was the father of Quinn. He would have continued lying about his fatherhood if his subordinate Andrew Young had not taken to writing a tell-tale book.

Initially Young was playing the perfect subordinate, taking the fatherhood blame on himself, to provide a cushion for John. However, as John’s finances were being probed, Young let it out that John was the father, after all. He said John asked him, "Get a doctor to fake the DNA results. And he proceeded to ask me ... to steal a diaper from the baby so he could secretly do a DNA test to find out if this [was] indeed his child."
