Grammy Appearance for Jackson Children

The children of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson may make an appearance at the Grammy Awards this year. A source told a tabloid that the Grammy Award producers have decided to rope in the children, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, for the tribute that they have arranged for MJ. The Awards will feature a 3-D short film on Jackson’s song “Earth Song”. This was previously scheduled to be part of MJ’s last tour, ‘This Is It’.

The appearance or their exact role in the scheme of things could not be confirmed by reps on either the Grammy producers’ end or the family side. The rep for the Awards telecast denied knowledge about the appearance of the little Jacksons. However, a close source says that the entire Jackson family is scheduled to be there. That includes father Joe.

The source went on to add, "They might go, but Kate [Kathryn, their grandmother] is very protective of having them in front of the cameras, so I doubt they will walk the carpet." Other than the famous Jacksons, the Grammy tribute is set to register the presence of famous names like Usher, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson and Smokey Robinson.
