Michael Jackson’s Children at Grammys

The children of Michael Jackson, daughter Paris and sons Prince Michael and Prince Michael II (Blanket) will be speaking at the Grammys tonight. They will be part of the proceedings for the Michael Jackson memorial service. In July last year, Paris gave out a very moving speech in tribute to her beloved father. Though the speech was brief, it was particularly touching. MJ lovers all over the world are looking at tonight’s event to be something on that count.

Other members of the Michael Jackson family will be there as well. The memorial service will take place at the Los Angeles Staples Center. This is a big night for the music industry. The audience at the amphitheatre will be much interested in this memorial service. Other than the extended Jackson family, other celebrities and musical titans who would be there at the service include Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood and Usher.

The pop-star sister of Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, had presided over the MJ tribute at 2009 Video Music Awards. That was immediately after MJ passed away in June. The whole world is waiting with baited breath to hear his children speak. This sort of an event befits a musician who was the most popular and influential music artist of his times.
