Susan Boyle Security Issue
Fame brings along other issues which you have not bargained for initially. The same can be said of Scottish singing sensation, Susan Boyle. Her meteoric rise is not something that her family or the local police department imagined. As a result, her home is being subjected to intrusions galore. On Tuesday night she was singing for a Haiti relief effort. She returned home to find an intruder lurking in her home. On Christmas, too, there were a couple of people breaking in through the back window. This has got her brother very concerned.
John Boyle, the brother of Susan, told ‘The Sun’: "I am very upset about the lack of security. Her management company is too busy counting the money Susan has made them to consider her safety. The family has told them several times that vast improvements need to be made to avoid something like this happening." The indifference from the police department about his concerns is pushing John up the wall. John is bringing up the gory assassination of John Lennon in New York to prove his point.
He said, "Susan is a massive world star and needs better protection. You look at what happened to John Lennon in New York - it's really worrying." Despite the security issues, Susan Boyle is steadfast about residing in her home of many years: "I'm not going anywhere - nobody's pushing me out of my house." She has the right to decide about staying at her home, but she has been toppled from the top of the chart by Ke$ha. But it has been a dream run for this Scottish wonder.
