Tito Jackson Didn't Ruin MJ Tribute?

February 08, 2010 at 12:17 am by Jonah.

Tito Jackson washed his hands off allegations that he embezzled funds that were earmarked for the Michael Jackson tribute. If you remember, the tribute was a huge failure and even the tickets got stale in the booking counters. Tito's agent, Peter Seitz, was responding to charges leveled by the promoter of the tribute, Roy Isaac. According to Roy, the show was such a flop because Tito did no press for the show and the lack of publicity and promotion caved it in.

Roy also blames Tito Jackson for making off with a deposit check for $7,500. His agent Peter put the failure blame firmly on Roy saying that Tito actually did press for the show and it was Roy who's responsible because he "never completed booking the show." Peter explained the mystery of the missing check by promptly saying that Tito never received the check in the first place! Now how convenient could it be.

Peter said that he himself is holding the check and also told Roy that he will never see the check again. Unless he rescheduled the concert or reimbursed the money Tito spent on air-tickets and other expenditures, Peter will not be giving the check back to Roy. Peter insisted that Isaac should "apologize and retract the story."
