‘Fringe’ is about FBI agents Olivia Dunham and Peter Bishop. They are trying to stop a particular phenomenon from spreading. The phenomenon is largely unexplained though the threat it poses is clear to the two agents. In their attempt to stop the phenomenon, they ask the help of Bishop’s estranged father, Dr. Walter Bishop. Dr. Bishop is an institutionalized scientist played by John Noble of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ series.
Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek) plays the role of Peter Bishop. He’s a cool customer but is saddled with huge debts in gambling. The role of Olivia Dunham is played by Anna Torv (The Secret Life of Us). She’s a tough FBI agent who has to solve the problem and threat of this particular unexplained phenomenon. There are other well-known faces on this series as well. Kirk Acevedo, Mark Valley plays the role of FBI agents. There are also other veteran actors in Blair Brown and Jasika Nicole.
‘Fringe’ is a much hyped sci-fi series created by J.J. Abrams, Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman. They are also the creators of other exciting series stuff like ‘Transformers’, ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Mission Impossible III’. The pilot episode for Fringe was directed by Alex Graves, the Emmy Award winner of ‘The West Wing’. The series is being produced by Warner Bros.
