iCarly
iCarly is a series about a teenager, Carly. She lives with her brother (26) and a guardian, Spencer. She produces her own web casts from an attic studio that she designed for herself. She's not really looking for fame or money when she's doing this. She just wants to be a good role model for fellow teens and kids. The series made history when it incorporated content created by kids into the main content of the show. This was the first of its kind on TV.
Miranda Cosgrove stars as Carly. Jennette McCurdy is Carly's friend Sam, and Nathan Kress is Freddie, while Jerry Trainor is Spencer. Sam is the best friend and co-host of iCarly. Freddie is the technical producer of iCarly and is Carly's neighbor. The show premiered on September, 2007. The series is created and produced by Dan Schneider.
The series has given birth to an actual website by the name of icarly.com. The site contains promotional videos and other content made and sent by the viewers. The site also has blogs written by the characters pictures from the production unit and comments from the viewers.
